The Locks of Love event is meant to raise awareness for pediatric patients and to give the community a chance to donate hair to Locks of Love or learn about the cause.
The Locks of Love event is meant to raise awareness for pediatric patients and to give the community a chance to donate hair to Locks of Love or learn about the cause. The donation helps kids who have lost their hair from pediatric cancer and alopecia areata.
The event will be held on Monday, April 25 in Beckman 404 from 11am-4pm. Please schedule an appointment before April 23 by contacting us at Chapman4LOL@gmail.com. In your email please include full name, phone number, email, age (minors are required permission from parents), and a suggested time for hair appointment. Walk-ins will be accepted but there is limited space.
* A donation of a minimum of 10 inches will be used for the wigs and a donation of 6-10 inches will be used to offset the manufacturing costs.
* Hair that has been bleached is not usable (colored or permed is accepted!)
* Hair extensions or synthetic hair is not accepted
